I like that this computer is lightweight and the touchscreen works well. It’s generally user friendly. If I had one really small gripe, it’s that this new model doesn’t have page up and down buttons.

I liked the small form factor and sleek outward appearance of this laptop but have been disappointed with the performance, battery life, and how noisy it is. I can live with the battery life and performance issues, but the noise is really intolerable. I was replacing my old ASUS 17 inch laptop and wanted to order reasonably high end specs, but even though the specs are higher end than my old system, it barely seems faster, and at times there are inordinate delays in responsiveness. I suppose I shouldn’t have been surprised at the short battery life of the system because there isn’t much room to fit a battery in such a small package, and that actually isn’t that big a problem since I mostly use the system at home and can reconnect to power whenever I need to, but its still disappointing. I seem to get 3-4 hours from a full charge. The really annoying issue is that the cooling fan seems to run noisily when I am barely doing anything with the system, and once it starts running it doesn’t want to stop unless I turn the system off. I regret purchasing this system and I haven’t even finished paying for it yet.

This is really an awesome product from legendary Dell. I have not had a single problem with it. Small, lightweight, fast start by lifting cover/screen. Hours long battery life, touchscreen helps speed usage over mouse or touchpad. Keyboard excellent. Windows 11 a bit different but quickly got used to it. What I hoped the Chromebook was but will never be. Biggest change for me is the new smaller USB size but Dell provides an adapter. Two USB ports, one for power supply, the other for mouse, monitor or printer as needed. Has Bluetooth and synchs with my cell phone. Professional level PC. Would buy another one if needed.

Love this machine. As a chemistry lecturer, i wanted a laptop for backup in case something happened to my desktop. My university is still work from home so being able to stay online is very important.
My final choice was between the M1 macbook pro and this but decided to go with the xps 13 because certain software I use doesn’t work on mac.
The laptop is everything i wanted and then some. It’s extremely quick, and adjusting windows 11 has been easy. The build is premium and the keyboard is superior. It wasn’t too bogged down by bloatware (mainly antivirus which i quickly uninstalled).
The battery life is average thus far and the quality from the webcam is below average.
Overall I’m very happy with my purchase and hope it continues!

Was trying to purchase this laptop but multiple listings appeared. FYI, the other listings are from third-party sellers or distributors. Nothing wrong with third-party sellers and if you want to purchase from a third-party seller that is up to you. If you try to go to other listings and go under the “Buy Now” buttons, third-party sellers will have a section that says “ships from/sold by”. This listing does not, so it is sold by the actual Dell store. Also, if you can, buy this laptop when it has a discount. I bought it at an unfortunate time and the price dropped $200 after it shipped. I was able to return it and repurchase with the discount.
