The surface was purchased to use for a telecommuting job and also occasionally for entertainment. Both activities for the typical user works great. We have a virus detector loaded and it occasionally warns us the memory (8 GB) is running low but it never had to swap memory using storage. With the SSD I suspect this wouldn’t be much of an issue if it ever comes up needing to do that. Overall it is a nice machine and travels conveniently well.

This is a great laptop i7 with 16gb of RAM. I do think it’s still pricey, and you’re paying premium for the surface name. I think $1600 should be what the 32gb 1TB version is priced at. Needless to say this configuration is perfect for my work load.

I purchased this for a physician at our medical practice and they love it, it’s very light weight and the performance is great. awesome to have for anyone that is standing up and using a laptop often.
